This year’s Black Belt Testing is about to enter its second phase!
The first phase of testing is the ongoing cross-training program, which began in November and continues through the end of May. These specialized, high-energy classes are designed to guide each candidate toward their next step.
On March 14, Phase Two will commence: the Black Belt Testing Preview at Neil Stone’s Dojo in Hollis, NH.
Select candidates will present before a panel of master-ranking judges, receiving evaluation and feedback to guide their preparation in the months ahead.
Best of luck to all candidates.

Elite training for those who want to be part of the Elite.

On Saturday, February 14th, the Atkinson Dojo will host a focused Multi-Dojo Instructor & Judges Training Seminar, designed specifically for those who will be judging at the Black Belt Testing Preview and the March 19th Tournament.
This seminar brings together S.T.O.R.M. members, Assistant Instructors, and Instructors from across the association for an energizing two hours of training and connection.

Seminar Focus: How to Judge

This session will concentrate on:
• Judging standards and expectations
• Consistency across rings and divisions
• Delivering clear, fair, and constructive feedback
• What to look for during Black Belt Testing Preview (March 14th)
• Applying these standards effectively at the Uechi Invitational Tournament (March 29th)

If you plan to judge — or want to be considered for judging — at either event, this seminar is strongly encouraged.
