One of the things I’m most thankful for about this job is the freedom it gives me to spend time with my family.
A while back, my mom was critically ill, on a ventilator, and in the hospital for many weeks. I don’t think I’ll ever appreciate this job more than I did during that time—when I was able to continue working while still being there with her.
I’m incredibly thankful that she made a full recovery. Now, at 86 years old, she spends most of her days on the golf course!
Meanwhile, I’m still in bed drinking my coffee when this notification pops up this morning. My mom is still running circles around me. 😂

It’s been a while since I’ve regularly used a slow cooker, and I’m looking for some fall recipes. Is there anything that you make in a slow cooker that you absolutely love? Would you be willing to share?

Thank you, thank you thank you to all who donated to my bread buddy program. This year we gave bread, soup, meal mixes, and it felt so great to drop it off at Golden Harvest!

The Bronco loss was so bad last night that I have entered the witness protection program. I will still be taking PC orders but you have to call me Pricilla Presley until further notice.
