๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: this could be yoga, meditation, or it could be part of your walk -no music, no phone calls, no scrolling, or journal OR literally just lie on a bed and clear your mind- 5min is ok, 10min is good, and 15 min is pure mind relief!
5. ๐ฏ๐๐ someone or some animal. The power of touch. Some days we just donโt get enough. A hug can stimulate oxytocin production which is your love hormone- distressing and good for emotion regulation.
6. ๐ญ๐๐๐ for your body- get some veggies in, good protein and maybe cold pressed juice. Give thanks to the food and your body for getting you this far ๐

Hi friends. It's about time I took a minute to introduce myself again. Notably, my instagram account has a lot going on guthealth, healthhacks, mindset tips, spiritual flavors, meditations, mentalhealth advocacy, lots of fitness, yoga, weight training, and throw some dancing in when I'm feeling fun.
So here it is: I am a coach to women who are looking for a health in a mental or physical capacity. I have worked a lot in the health space but tend to focus my time on helping women see their worth, fight perfectionism, and show up as a more calm and incontrol (of all things) empowered female.
I work with men on relationships. Not because I am a relationship expert, but because I can provide an honest understanding of how they are feeling and how there actions do not support what they want.
I am a coach trained in NLP, techniques of change. I am also a health coach, and a weight training fitness fanatic for 20+ years. I have been teaching yoga since 2007. I am currently in grad school for clinical mental health counseling.
I survived an eating disorder in my youth and addiction throughout my life. My lack of permanent partner, (never married) nor having kids has been both a symbol of my strength and a source of my shame. In 2010 I was diagnosed with IBS (ie gut health trauma) and spent a long time refining my diet and my supplements to know what creates belly hell and how to get back on track. I have felt self hatred, self love, and dealt unmedicated adhd, fought to not take medication for depression and anxiety and lost every battle.
I take long breaks from social media because I can't always handle the time it takes me to interact, much to the detriment of my IG growth.
My strengths are: empathy, intuition, knowledge, intellect, emotional depth, fitness training, yoga, nonrestricted eating, gut health, humor and creativity.
My weaknesses are: consistency, codapendency, emotionalism, perfectionism, procrastication and self sabotage.
I have helped over 100 people through my coaching and if anything speaks to you here, reach out. I'm good at what I do and helping people is what I am meant to do on this earth.

Happy Monday friends!
Iโve been thinking about how to synthesize the themes that are both my nemesis and my savior. If you are looking to have a different life, we have to show up differently and these few things are the fundamental and yet so easily forgotten.
Do you utilize any of these? Or what helps you feel more in control, more love, more abundance and empowered?!
๐ Control through Discipline
True control isn't about suppressing or dominating others, but about mastering yourself. It's about developing the discipline to align your actions with your intentions, to stay focused amidst distractions, and to persevere in the face of challenges. Trust is the foundation of strong relationships, but it starts within. Believe in your abilities, honor your values, and listen to your intuition. One of my favorite psychologists is Carl Jung. Not only because of how he expanded on Freudโs psychoanalysis (Jung created analytical psychology), but also because he was into , the collective consciousness, and (Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that studies the fundamental nature of reality.) He also is the founder of the term Shadow selfโฆ and much more!!

What is one of the biggest barriers to mind and body healing?
Did you know that self-criticism is actually a form of self-protection?
๐so before we go any further, sit with that truth and consider appreciating that part of yourself that's trying to keep you safe/motivated/in control.
Self-criticism activates the brainโs threat response, that works perfectly when a threat is life-endangering, but when the threat is to our self-concept, self-criticism does nothing but make things worse. When you view yourself as the problem, your reptilian brain kicks in and keeps you stuck in that fight-flight stress loop that were trying to get out of.
Self-compassion is a huge component in activating the parasympathetic branch of the nervous system, combatting the threat response that leads to chronic dysregulation and chronic mind-body symptoms.
๐So what to do?
Notice your critic.
Build your awareness of their presence.
Massive understand and accept them.
See them as just a part of yourself.
Maybe even befriend them?
Then choose a different, kinder narrative.
Over and over and over.
You can do it.
This is the work that will change everything for you. Trust me! Itโs my work!

I was thinking about what I personally was going to do this week to make sure I gave myself the best opportunity to feel good mentally.๐ฅฐ
And here's my list that I thought I'd share with you.๐๏ธ
1. ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I know it seems woo-woo, but think of someone who gives you energy. Now think of someone who takes your energy. So it's a thing.
๐Your thoughts are the same thing, they can take your energy or they can give you energy. Learn how to harness your thoughts. I know it seems tough but it's possible!
2. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Move your body. ESPECIALLY when you feel down and meditation, prayer, journaling, isn't working. It's a fact- movement is effective to change your emotional state!!
3. ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐
Go for a walk and be present. Be alone with your thoughts. Take some time with no music, no social media, and let your mind just be. Make an effort to come back to the present moment. Just give it a try and see how you feel.
4. ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Getting out of ourselves is the best way to change the me focus in our mind. Choose to do something for someone else. Be their sunshine even if you can't be your own.
5. ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐Laugh. What a great and easy way to physiologically change our mental state and tone our abs ;). FIND something to make you laugh. Take that 5 minutes and give your brain that gift.
Some of us have rough ๐days. Some of us have ๐ขrougher days than others. It never hurts to remind ourselves that we can be the master of our own mind. And don't worry, I know each one of these won't work for everyone, so take what works and leave the rest.

I am literally obsessed with or Internal Family Systems (can be a coach and get certified in this technique- so Iโm not out of scope!)
There are lots of techniques out there that are effective, but I have been doing inner child work with myself, my friends (before coaching) and with my coaching clients since 2004 (not joking first letter to my inner child that broke my pattern of using men for attention was in 2004) and it is PROFOUND.
Internal Family systems aka parts work is an expanded version of inner child work, where different voices in your psyche are personified- whether they are creating harm or protecting you.
Where we get into trouble when overcoming issues, is when we push down those voices and ignore them. When we do this, we stay ignorant to what they are trying to accomplish.
When we start looking at every character defect or poor coping mechanism as having a role in our lives, essentially, an intent to help us in a way, then we can understand ourselves that much better.
The personifying is key and I promise it's quite a mind spin. To actually dialogue with yourself and get into the "character" of these voices can be mind blowing. I'm not exaggerating. I've done this work and integrating it more with my clients. I'm just a baby at utilizing it, but already have seen it's worth.

Monday meanderings. Deep thoughts and belly breaths!
I have not always been that confident. And I still struggle (obviously). I mean if you know me personally or have read enough of my posts, you see me tell feelings of fear, not feeling good enough and ya honestly some down right personal issues that seem almost cringey.
But that's MY story. And part of my story is learning how to lose the "what people think" mindset or the followers I lose or for that matter, the followers I gain. Being literally like, I do not care how this comes across because this is my life!
Business plays a part but these days, the pain, the authenticity, the disclosure is becoming more and more what we hunger to let out. And hunger to see and feel. ๐ฏ
I don't want to just know about the weight someone lost, I want to know how some days it's hard to get going or eat the right thing or to be married or single, working at a corporate office or doubting your career choice or ability to be a parent.
And then I want you to tell me how you got through it. Are you better? Will that thinking come back? Is it ok if it comes back? (what even determines ok)
And through you, I feel seen. Through me relating, YOU feel seen.
So ya there are some that travel this road of life and don't really "get" the low self esteem, self depracating nature some of us have or have the same deep wounds of addiction, eating disorders, relationships that never quite hit the happy mark, and that is ok. My people are the people that show up with their scars and proudly show them.
My people are the ones that say, yep, I was an as***le. Or I don't necessarily agree, but I see how you could feel that way. Or the ones that say, hey I need help, what can I do to be better?
Nothing like some deep thoughts for a Monday? My posts are always reflecting something I am thinking about, encountering and hoping to inspire others in an authentic way.
I hope you touch someone's soul today with your authenticity. And then I hope you share that. If you don't have anyone to share it with, you have my DM's.
