I normally don’t share our team race day photos on our public social media, but these photos capture the raw emotion of the State Championship race.
You had some, it was the last race of their career, a final testament to their unwavering dedication. Others were racing for a family member who couldn’t be there, fueled by love and loyalty. Others looked like they had been to battle, their dust covered faces etched with exhaustion. Others were celebrating the culmination of their hard work throughout the season, a hard earned podium. And others, whose season ended not as they had hoped, showed resilience and determination.
No matter what the rider was feeling, these photos show the raw emotion and as each rider crossed the finish line, you can see that they had poured all of those feelings into the last race of the season, or career, leaving everything on the course.
