“I can feel the sunshine on my face”

We love seeing our bees looking up at us when we open the hive. Yes, they are able to recognize us.

Well I would say that they are Ready for Spring! It’s not even March yet!

We are very thankful that our hives made it through the Ice Storm 🤞Winter is almost over and Spring is on the Horizon!

We’re honored to have been the featured honey of the 59th Awards 🍯 From the Artist’s gift bags to their green rooms and the backstage tea bar, we hope it helped keep everyone’s voices soothed for their performances! We thought so as the ceremony was incredible!

Winter Prep!

The bees are packing in pollen and creating a “bee bread” by preserving it through a fermentation process using a recipe of their saliva, nectar or honey and enzymes. This makes the pollen last all winter and more digestible for their system. This is their main source of protein, fats and vitamins and will be used to help them survive the winter months along with eating their stored honey for energy as it is a carbohydrate and helps the colony generate heat and survive the cold.

Walked outside this morning and noticed a Monarch Butterfly that had recently emerged from her chrysalis and was drying her wings and giving them several hours to harden so that she could take her first flight. A special moment indeed. I noticed the caterpillar on our milkweed awhile ago but then I lost her and somehow she formed next to the milkweed on a nearby gomphrena plant. I could have watched her for hours to catch her first flight but the day wouldn’t allow. Had to check on the bees which are doing well!

Still a moment I found very special and have been patiently waiting for all year.

Plant Milkweed and Make a Difference, one Monarch at a time.

Something Beautiful….

Check out Nashville’s first Energy Wellness Cafe

Excited for them to carry our local honey in their drinks and on the shelf!

Stop by and pick up some honey and try out their delicious fresh juice drinks paired with their clean molecules you choose which are basically liquid vitamins. I personally recommend the Volta Sunrise with fresh squeezed orange juice, cranberry, colostrum, and I added NAD+ which is like a liquid IV boost to your drink. You choose the caffeine level you want. They also have an array of different matcha drinks.

Everything Steven and I have tried tastes incredible, clean, and is so refreshing!

Loving the vibes, digging this new cafe!
