Lanier Speedway INEX Racing Series

Great weekend of racing! Thank you to all of the drivers, crew members, family, friends and fans that joined us for a weekend full of good times! We look forward to our October doubleheader race weekend! Invite some friends to join you at Caffeine & Octane Lanier Speedway!

This weekend at C&O Lanier Raceway brings back traditional oval track racing with the return of High Octane Racing Friday night & then the Legends Car & Bandolero Car series will be racing on Saturday and Sunday! It is a full weekend of fun at the track!

With a long history of Legends (and Bandolero) racing at Lanier, the track will celebrate their return with back-to-back events Saturday & Sunday! Saturday night's race will be a National Qualifier event for the Legends Cars!

The legendary raceway will roar back into oval speedway racing action for two big weekends in September and October! All legends car and bandolero car drivers need to make plans to compete on one or both weekends!

"This is one of the best tracks in the country for legends car racing," said Legends of Georgia director Ken Ragan. "It is the perfect size and banking to create great competition. We are excited that Bruce (Piefke) wants us back at track."

Caffeine & Octane owner Bruce Piefke purchased the track in early 2022 and has been busy working several autocross, drifting and car show events at the track. He attended an Atlanta Motor Speedway Thursday Thunder event in June and has been working with Ken Ragan to schedule the races.

"We are excited to have the legends and bandolero cars back on the schedule," said Piefke. "Everyone has been telling us that the cars put on a great show on our track. I am anxious to see the racing. It should lead to more racing scheduled on the oval track."

Caffeine & Octane Lanier Raceway will be making an announcement soon about the plans for Legends Car and Bandolero Car racing returning to the historic oval in July! There are also exciting plans in the works for later this fall and a special series of events! Legends Car and Bandolero Car racing will return to Lanier Raceway this summer. The new ownership is working with Legends of Georgia to schedule racing at the famed oval in Braselton, Georgia. Stay tuned to this page for future news!
