Such an amazing opportunity for these young moguls. It’s about to be too much fun as I whip these babies into shape.

Today, I heard the news about the loss of my mentor, The Reggie Wells!💔

I was in high school and DREAMED of one day meeting THE REGGIE WELLS -OPRAH’s MUA. Fast forward (20yrs later) To my surprise I was on tour-with MaryMary and Michelle (Destiny’s Child)he was their MUA for the Grammy’s. I nearly passed out. I spent the entire evening with RW. At that moment, my life was changed forever.🥰

Reggie Wells is ICONIC. We were both recognized at the ICON Awards. I received the RISING ICON Award next to him receiving the ICON AWARD- he didn’t recognize me-so many years had passed. I reminded him how we met- he went on and on-about how he knew I would do great things in the beauty industry. I just started crying. I will never forget that moment. 😭I was so happy, nervous, and thankful to be alongside him with this honor. I looked up to him since I was 16 and to finally work alongside him was a dream come true. And then… to be recognized alongside him…. I swear, at that moment I thought I was dreaming-because 1 yr. Earlier-I was ready to QUIT the beauty industry. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I don’t want to think about what my life would look like had I QUIT!!! forevergrateful

He was one of my mentors early in my career. I am so grateful that God allowed my dream to come true. Reggie took me under his wings and taught me how to conduct business with celebs and how to conduct myself in this business. When he spoke I LISTENED AND DID!

Reggie, you lived a prosperous and blessed life. Thank you for paving the way for so many of us follow. Your legacy will live forever. I will continue to acknowledge you for the many things that you taught and shared with me. I love you, Reggie!!! Rest Peacefully, King!!!!
