Taco Tuesday! We cannot wait for spring to get our wheels on the sand again! 🏖

Fall backpacking and camping on the BMT! 🍁 I was lucky to get away for a couple of nights and enjoy the crisp outside air, drink from mountain streams, and camp out “cowboy style” under the stars, under a tarp but no other shelter 🤠 It was great — but I can’t wait to get my rooftop tent — it’s coming soon — and keep it up this fall!

Wow I have loved my Pioneer Carry wallet for a long long time. And after 3+ years it was showing a bit of wear at the corners. It’s still going strong but I just upgraded to their new vertical billfold and I love it. The color. The fit and finish. The heard wearing fabric that’s like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. Check them out if you’re looking for a wallet that will stand the test of time!

There's nothing like taking a stroll outside to refresh yourself. Try it! Grab a coat and hat if it's cold, and just take 15 minutes to breathe deep and amble around the neighborhood or the countryside.

This weekend we wanted to relax and refresh in the North Georgia Mountains. We filled the weekend with outside air, mountain views, fall leaves, waterfalls, a roaring fire and a crisp moonlit night! It's so fun to pack up the truck and head out to parts unknown with Erin Gerstenzang, our kid, and her best friend. 🏕🍂🌙

We don't love camp grounds full of people (though they'll do in a pinch... and they have, um, bathrooms and showers and firewood for sale) so we were in the Cohutta Wilderness Area of the Chatahoochee National Forest. In case you don't know: YOU CAN CAMP — FOR FREE — IN ANY NATIONAL FOREST. And so you just point your car or truck up a Forest Service Rd. and explore for a while to find a pull-out or a little spot off the beaten track. In this particular case, getting to the campsite we picked required a stream crossing(!) and some rough gravel roads. Fun!
