Five years ago, I hung this in my office as a daily reminder.

Back then, I was climbing the corporate ladder, praying over dreams that felt far away. I had no idea that one day I’d be laid off… and what felt like the worst day of my career would become the turning point.

When that corporate door closed, I thought I had lost something.

Instead, God made room for the life I’d been praying for.

Today, this little affirmation means more than ever. It reminds me that sometimes the life you’re meant to live requires the courage to walk through a different door.

If you’re in a season where one just closed, don’t lose hope. It may be making room for exactly what God has planned for you. 🤍✨
