We're proud to announce the release of our "Striking Out Hunger" campaign and our free online calendar to help everyday metro Atlantans learn about food pantries and food banks in the area. The growing calendar is available through the Google Calendar app and is loaded with details for hundreds of opportunities to pick up food and additional necessities.

The Atlanta Diamondbacks have been providing training and coaching services to metro Atlanta players and teams since September 2023. Please use this post to leave reviews about your experiences with our organization. Thanks everyone.
We will be hosting live AB sessions tomorrow (11/9) between the window of 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at Eagles Landing HS in McDonough. The session will be open to players ages 10+. Our goal is for each player to get 15-20 at-bats.

Common issues we see with hitters in live hitting training:
1. Triggering too late. Hitters must have their hands and hips loaded as the pitcher prepares to deliver towards the plate.
2. Long swings. Hitters must take a direct approach to the ball. Hands must stay inside the baseball. Take the approach of taking the k**b to the ball.
3. Inability to recognize the location of pitches. Hitters must know what third of the plate the ball will cross to determine when to begin their swings.
4. Getting themselves out. Many young hitters take defensive swings with less than two strikes in at-bats. This often leads to weak contact. Hitters should only go in protect mode with two strikes. It's always ok to take a strike when you have less than two strikes in the count.
These live hitting sessions have benefitted players across metro Atlanta since 2023. We bring out our pitchers, many with HS and College experience to face hitters (ages 14+). Many of our pitchers throw 80+ and we work on letting hitters see a variety of pitches in a variety of counts.
Rates are affordable (approximately $30-$45 per hour) and hitters walk away getting at least 20-30 at-bats each day. Our goal is not to replace your hitting trainer but to provide a supplemental service to ensure players of all abilities are truly getting better. The American Legion Post 77 baseball program is looking for a few extra players (preferably pitchers) as they gear up for the upcoming Summer season. This is a 16-19 team; players who do not turn 20 in 2025 will be eligible. There will be many opportunities to play in an assortment of Perfect Game and American Legion tournaments. The full cost for registration and uniforms is $500 per player. Review the flyer below for additional details.

We are proud to announce the "Learn And Play Initiative" which is a partnership between the Atlanta Diamondbacks and EZ as Pi Tutoring Service. EZ as Pi provides virtual tutoring services for students from Kindergarten through College across the country. EZ as Pi also provides test preparation services for many standardized tests.
