SOMETHING CAN INDEED BE DONE ABOUT IT!

Most of us have, at one time or another, been faced with a seemingly insurmountable problem.

You may be facing circumstances now that are so overwhelming that you feel paralyzed.

Or you may have put up with a situation for so long that you take it for granted that nothing new could help.

Or you may be surrounded by naysayers who squash every idea and speak mostly doom and gloom.

Don't believe that there isn't an answer.

Don't believe that there isn't at least one positive thing you could do, one person you could call, or a new understanding that you can achieve to make things better.

Also, know that what was once true may no longer be true.

There are also times when what we thought was true - never was.
You may have been misinformed.

You may have only part of the story.

So don't assume that what you think to be true about a certain situation is true - no matter what someone else says.

Check it out for yourself!

What was once impossible - may now be possible.

If you feel like your idea is a good one, find a way to pursue it or gather support for it.

Don't do the same thing over and over again.

Try something new.

Try again.

Get another perspective.

Get some help.

Get moving.

Believe that you really can do something.

Because you can!

Let's reduce the stress!

Don't Get Stuck on the No

Are you taking things way too seriously today?

We have a tendency to do that at times, and it can keep us stuck in the problem.

A friend of mine went to a seminar on sales a few years ago and came back with this refrain that makes me smile every time I think of it.

It goes like this:

Some will.
Some won't.
So what?
Who's next?
Keep those feet moving!

It not only works for sales, but also if someone turns you down for an idea, a job, a request for help, or any other thing:

Don't get stuck on the no!
Don't get mired in the mud.
Don't let discouragement set in.

Keep those feet moving.

Of course, we like the "yes" answer better than the "no."

We prefer it when people agree with us.

We like to gather people on our bandwagon, but we must remember that the "no" is usually nothing personal.

It is just a part of life.

Some will.

Some won't.

So what?
