Running from Injury

𝐅𝐫𝐢 𝟎𝟑 𝐉𝐮𝐥 / 𝟏𝟐:𝟐𝟎 - 𝟏𝟑:𝟏𝟎 / 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 / I will be doing an interview and book signing in a session entitled 'Running from Injury' which focuses on learnings from my career as an athlete and performance scientist.

𝐅𝐫𝐢 𝟎𝟑 𝐉𝐮𝐥 / 𝟏𝟓:𝟓𝟓 - 𝟏𝟔:𝟒𝟓 / 𝐋𝐚𝐧 𝐘 𝐌𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 / I will be giving a talk entitled 'Cross Fit for the Mind' which charts the journey towards my current work as a performance coach in professional rugby.

The real wisdom comes from the awkward transitions that occur between these two career identities and I'll be doing my best to get that across in both sessions. If you're passionate about human potential, these are the sessions for you !"

Congratulations to Aneta receiving lots of interest in her study which investigated the impact of footwear on the biomechanics of autistic and neurotypical children

As you can see Jia Wei was incredibly busy representing us this morning. His project on footstrike patterns with and without footwear on different surfaces was extremely popular. Still 3 more researchers to come this afternoon. Let's hope they are all as busy

We are still catching our breath after our 12th and best meeting yet, but we haven't got long, because the team are off to America next week to present at the American College of Sports Medicine. Thank you to all of our wonderful speakers for adding to such a feel good factor on the day. Special congratulations to our researcher of the year Jia Wei Siow - you can catch Jia Wei presenting in Atlanta next week
