Having access to large tracts of private ground is an appealing prospect (and yes, we do have that) but, when it comes to whitetails in the west, it's about access (even if limited) to creek bottoms, travel corridors and dense cover.

Our South Dakota whitetail hunts take place on private land near Newell, just outside the Black Hills region and approximately one hour north of Rapid City.

The area combines open western country, agricultural ground, river corridors, and creek-bottom habitat that can create excellent whitetail travel and bedding cover.
