A shot from a recent range trip with the master blaster, Dennis Rousseau. Always a good time, and I always walk away having learned something.
Marksmanship is one of the primal environments in the C-Tac Combat Blueprint and a fundamental part of our baseline training.
Like anything else you want to develop, it needs a regular place on your calendar. Get quality instruction, put in purposeful practice, and keep refining your fundamentals.
The same mindset you bring to the mat belongs on the range: safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to keep learning.

Just got back from a week in Los Angeles, attending the Inosanto instructor training camp.
Always an awesome training experience getting in the room with the legendary G**o/Sifu Inosanto 🙏🏼 And getting to connect with good friends!
Getting ready to head up to Virginia for the upcoming Executive Protection Institute class.

Last week, I was in Los Angeles, California, for instructor camp at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. I went out a few days early to take private lessons with several instructors in the area, which gave me an entire week of training.

I have been doing more of this lately. As my teaching travels increase, I am making time along the way to get back into the student role and continue learning.

As always, the camp was an incredible experience. Spending time with G**o Inosanto is something I deeply appreciate, and reconnecting with friends I have known for decades makes these trips even more meaningful. Great training, good conversations, and plenty of time catching up.

Now I am heading back to Atlanta to prepare for the upcoming Executive Protection Institute class.

Grateful for another week of learning and time with good people.
