Nothing like a Friday night on the field! Last week, we covered seven sub-varsity games for GHSA.

These provide a great opportunity for our umpires to experience a high level of baseball and get games in!

Thank you to the 83 umpires who called games with us this fall at Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association and Ocee Park.

Together, we covered over 700 games, allowing the kids of and to play the sport we all love.

Red, white, and blue for the 15u championship!

I'm thrilled to share that I have officially signed on as the Baseball Coordinator for Referee Enterprises, the publishers behind Referee Magazine and NFHS Pre-Season Guides, and the operating arm of the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO). This new role is an opportunity for me to expand the impact of Umpire Classroom and to connect with umpires across the country and around the globe in new and meaningful ways.

My contract will cover most of the 2025 Baseball season, from November to April, and I'm eager to bring as much value as possible to umpires, especially in areas where training and support are lacking. To do that, I need to hear from you!

While Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer and a well-deserved day off, we must take a moment to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Our enjoyment of days like this is made possible by the courage and sacrifices of our soldiers, who fought for the ideals we hold dear.

As we wrap up two great spring seasons at Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association and Ocee Park, we want to express our gratitude to the 86 who took their talents onto the field for us, the parks, and the kids.
