SAVE THE DATE!!!
Now that the Holidays are over, Westminster has been postponed and we are in the middle of Winter, your National Parent Club, Charitable Trust and Health Committee agreed this is a great opportunity for a Health Educational Seminar! Please join us on Thursday, January 27, 2022 @7:30pm EST for a very interesting and insightful Zoom presentation with Dr Jeong!

MVD PRESENTATION:
A Big Hearts and a Kind Soul - an overview of Mitral Valve Heart Disease in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

We are very pleased that Dr. Hyeon Jeong has agreed to present a talk about mitral valve heart disease in Cavaliers. He completed his undergraduate work at Emory University and is a graduate of University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine and a yearlong internship at Virginia-Maryland School of Veterinary Medicine. He followed this training with a year as a Clinical Instructor in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and Cardiology. Dr. Jeong was inspired to pursue additional specialty training in cardiology by his two Cavaliers, Honey Bee and Cookie Dough. He is currently in the last year of a three year residency. Upon completion of his residency he will be working for CVCA as a veterinary cardiologist. Dr. Jeong is currently conducting a research study on Cavaliers examining the correlation between resting heart rate and MVD.

Dr. Jeong is pictured with his Tricolor, Honey Bee. Sadly, his Blenheim cavalier, Cookie Dough, passed away at 13 years of age due to heart disease.

Information on how to attend the Zoom meeting will be sent next week.
