My message daily in my work as a personal trainer is your body is a machine that thrives on movement and superior nutritional choices. Unfortunately, that basic premise is being drowned out by what has become an ever increasing fad of Ozempic and similar drugs as a shortcut to weight loss. Perceived as a harmless easy choice, no one, including doctors are talking about the realities of this drug. No one can say it better than Jillian Michaels. Please listen. The only healthy way to a more physically and emotionally better “fit” you is through the work of exercise and changes to your nutritional choices, along with the psychological roadblocks that prevent those changes.

And the winner of the 60 Day Weight Loss Competition is… Jennifer! Jenn said it was being “mentally really” to make lifestyle changes, specifically in her words, “eating every 2/3 hours” and commitment to “regular cardio” that helped her lose almost 17 pounds. I am super proud of her!! In a world of shortcuts, she chose changing daily habits of nutrition and exercise… Hard work? Yes but ALWAYS the path that gives long term, HEALTHY results that make you feel both energized physically and mentally along the way!! Go Jennifer!!! 🎉💃💪
