Halloween Havoc Champions

First-Inning Spurt Leads Georgia Flames ‘08 Past Elevation Fastpitch 12-2 for the Halloween Havoc Tournament Championship.

Emily Hughes contribution earned her the MVP Award for the tournament.

Georgia Flames ‘08 Nixon scored 12 runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Elevation 12-2 on Saturday. Kaelynn Wilson singled, scoring one run, Emily Hughes doubled, scoring two runs, a steal of home scored two runs, Lainey Chandler doubled, scoring two runs, Riley Greven singled, scoring one run, Lily Nixon singled, scoring one run, Emily Hughes singled, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run.

Georgia Flames ‘08 collected eight hits in the game. Nixon, Hughes, and Greven each collected two hits for Georgia Flames ‘08. Hughes provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Georgia Flames ‘08 with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 in the Championship. Emily Hughes, Riley Greven, Kaydi Babb, Olyvia Webb, and Larkin Giddens each stole multiple bases for Georgia Flames ‘08. Georgia Flames ‘08 stole 15 bases in the game. Georgia Flames ‘08 were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Lily Nixon had the most chances in the field with two.
