From Sicily, wishing the Distinguished Gentleman a safe and fun ride today. Good on you Mark Cushman for again, organizing this year fundraiser for men’s health. I’m sorry I could not be there to join you.

Thank you to the BMW Motorcycle Club of Georgia who invited me their annual Georgia Mountain Rally this past weekend! They provided me the opportunity to deliver a ADV training clinic, present Back Country Discovery Routes and lead a ride on sections of BDR’s Chattahoochee BDR-X. Great weather, terrific people and lots of fun!

In preparation for an upcoming big adventure ride in Columbia (the country) Dr. Stephan Petranker flew in from NY this past weekend for personal ADV lessons to help him finesse his skills for his big ride. We met initially on a couple of my guiding trips in Alaska and the southwest with MotoQuest. Always a great time with Stephan!

Had a good ride yesterday with Ken Welty and Paul Goldie pre-riding a route for the upcoming Georgia BMW MOA rally the first weekend in May to be held at the North Georgia Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, GA.

Last weekend motowayz had its first ADV/Dual-Sport off road motorcycle riding training camp that again, sold out. We had great weather and great people for a terrific training weekend where riders learned to ride more effective, efficient and safely. We all had a blast! Next training camp June 25th - 28th. Hope you can make it!

As many of you probably know Rachel Gutish has had a phenomenal racing season this year. If you are a AMA member, you can go to the attached link at the bottom of this post and vote for Rachel for AMA Female Rider of the Year! She's had many accomplishments this year, being The first Individual American to win the FIM Enduro GP World Championship! Won a gold Medal at 6 Days with her team. She won the championship in the AMA Women's Elite class in the National Enduro Series and the Canada National Enduro Title. Rachel was also able to win the Women's Pro Enduro Cross Series and The West Coast Hard Enduro Series. As well as winning the Women's Division at the TKO. Rachels most recent accomplishment was winning the Women's Class at the Ozark 100 Miler! She's been a great part of this shop for 10 years and is more than deserving of this award! As well as being an AMA District 17 Member for 25 years! The voting ends the 15th of December, so get your votes in quick!
