Come with us as we plant our garden 🌱

We filled up our raised beds and finally got everything planted — herbs, flowers, peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, cucumbers, sunflowers, and eggplant. Now comes the fun part… watching it all grow! 🌻🍅🌶️

Surprising by wife Part 2: Duana and I have been dating for 22 years, so tonight I’m gonna surprise her with a little dinner down at the garden. Come with me as I surprise her. Come back to see us get ready and for the final reveal. ❤️

My Wife’s Postpartum Protein Shake 🥤💪🏾

Since Duana’s been postpartum and breastfeeding, I wanted to make her a shake that was filling, high in protein, and packed with some extras to support her nutrition while she’s recovering and getting back into her routine.

Here’s what we use:

12–14 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop Body Fortress chocolate protein powder
50g oat flour
1 scoop collagen peptides
1 serving super greens
1 serving Benefiber
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 Tbsp honey

How we make it:
Add everything to the blender and blend until completely smooth. If you want it a little thinner, just add a splash more almond milk.

Quick, easy, high in protein, and one less meal to think about during a busy morning with a new baby.

Postpartum and breastfeeding nutrition needs are different for everyone, so this is simply what we make at home—not individualized medical or nutrition advice.

I love when me and my boo get spend some time together. Last year we had a chance to spend the weekend in Tampa together. I saw this picture. I was like oh yes, I love these times.
