Stars Fastpitch 2027

Time updated for our open workout scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday). We will be on the Etowah HS softball field from 4:00-6:00.

We are adding to our Stars Fastpitch 2027/2028 family! Come see us for a practice and meet the team. All positions welcome. Open workouts will be hosted on Wednesdays in July (the 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 7:30-9:30 pm) and on Sunday, July 24th (4:00-6:00 pm). All open workouts will be held at Etowah HS in Woodstock, GA.

Down 3-2, bottom of the 5th. Aviana Mathis 2027 leads off the inning with a solo shot to CF to tie the game. Leah Martin 2028 draws a walk and takes 2nd and 3rd on passed balls. Grace Walmer 2027 steps up with a ground ball to SS to score Leah M. The Stars Fastpitch 2027 team advances with a 4-3 walk-off win. It was a great defensive effort, great pitching effort, and great and timely hitting by everyone to step up when needed.

Bottom of the fourth, tie game (1-1), and we needed a run. Katelyn Redd 2027 singles to get us started. Allie Anderson 2028 lays down the sac bunt to move the runner. Then Peyton Angel 2027 comes through with a single to score the run. Players stepping up and making things happen.

Welcome to the 💣 squad, Allie A. 2028! Allie picked a great time to display the power at the plate by going deep to CF in our first Showcase game at the Stars Over Alabama Showcase!

This week the Stars Fastpitch 2027 team is heading West for the Stars Over Alabama Showcase. This is our 3rd Showcase this month and these Stars are primed to play in front of another great group of college coaches.

And that's a wrap on the USA Southern Summer Showcase. Leah M. 2028 stepped up and hit 1.000 with RISP. Reagan D. 2027 hit another TANK and Grace W. 2027 added 5 RBI to her season total. Allie A. 2028 had an .800 SLG and Chanley L. 2027 lead the team tossing 11 K's across 3 games!

This week the Stars Fastpitch 2027 team begins our summer showcase tour with the Champions Elite Summer Showcase. We are playing close to home this weekend at Hobgood Park. We have two showcase games tomorrow and three showcase games on Saturday before bracket play begins Saturday night.

It is going to be a fun weekend with some loaded competition!

This week we get to celebrate #6, Reagan Dooley, and wish her a Happy 16th Birthday. Happy Birthday, Reagan!

The PGF Memorial Day Classic is in the books. The Stars Fastpitch 2027 team had a competitive pool and finished with the 2 seed heading into bracket play. The players kept the bats HOT collecting 12, 2-out RBI, and picked up 13 XBH on the weekend! We added to the stat sheets with 43 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple, and another NO DOUBT homerun smashed by Aviana M. 2027.

Serena X. 2027 hit for .571 with RISP and collected 6, 2-out RBI. Audrey B. 2027 and Reagan D. 2027 both hit for .500 with RISP.

Our pitchers did a great job keeping hitters off balance. Allie A. 2028 held batters to a .171 BAA while Chanley L. 2027 collected 12 K’s (2 KL). Reagan D. 2027 allowed 1 BB through 12 innings.

Grace W. 2027 caught 11.1 innings while allowing zero passed balls.

This weekend, Callie F. 2028 returned from injury. Callie was limited in duties but took advantage of the opportunities. In 9 AB, she had 1 SAC, 1 BB, and ZERO K’s as she worked to get back up to game speed.

Katelyn Malone 2027 picked up with us this weekend to help us out at 1B and catcher. Katelyn M. 2027 collected 4 RBI and allowed zero passed balls behind the dish.
