Most of these myths fall under the umbrella of the first and last.

Because if we can’t even define pain clearly, how can we expect to get lasting results?

There’s more to pain than just tissue damage.
And as therapists, we need to communicate that better than just saying “get more sleep” or “you’re too stressed.”

What you do in the remaining 23 hours outside the clinic matters more than what happens inside it.

So what do you do when pain comes back… you tense up… and start spiraling again?

There are ways to target pain that go beyond chasing tissue damage (that may not even be there in the first place).

And honestly? They’re often more effective, less time-consuming, and a hell of a lot cheaper.

This isn’t to say hands-on therapy doesn’t have value.
But why not both?

Why not combine short-term relief *with* long-term self-management?

> **Better understanding. Better communication. Better outcomes.**
> That’s what bridges the gap from pain to performance.
