In Honour of Steve Cotter RIP 01/18/2025

We did a workout in memory of Steve Cotter. Afterward, we wanted to say a few words, and it was tough.

This video is in honor of a Kettlebell legend, Steve Cotter.

Steve leaves an amazing legacy by having helped many people across the world in so many ways, not just physically, but also mentally. He will leave a huge hole in the kettlebell community. I had the honor of spending a considerable amount of time with him in Spain for several workshops and certifications. We had a great time shooting some photos as well. We helped each other out in many ways. He was the respectful and helpful kind of guy that we needed more of in the industry.

Thank you for all that you've done. RIP

I never record student progress or do the whole before and after thing, I just move from one to the next, but I have found that my word is not what convinces people, so I will start collecting proof from now on :-) 

This is Steve, he's an IKU™ member. Suzie organized a challenge in the group. It was an advanced challenge that involved the squat. Steve wanted to enter, but he quickly checked his ego at the door and listened to his body. 

We then all encouraged him to stay in the challenge but do the alternatives for the duration of the challenge. Steve accepted. 

I have helped him improve his squat tenfold. There is still some work to do, but what is achieved within a time frame of 7 days is amazing, mostly due to Steve's persistence and showing up.

I love seeing results like this, this is what I exist for.
