The Striper Experience - Lake Lanier Fishing Guide

Got a great trip in before the rain. Thanks Brian for getting Tripp and dad Tommy out for Tripp's graduation.

June is a transitional month for striper fishing on Lake Lanier.

The patterns that worked in May are changing quickly. Water temperatures are rising, fish are moving, bait is behaving differently, and anglers who don't adjust can find themselves chasing yesterday's pattern.

Ryan had Pam on his boat and I had Craig and Nathan. Both repeat customers from years back. Here a a few of the better ones from today

What an absolutely fun day of unfishing hooks. The Dudacks have been great customers for years and they drove up from Jackson Lake for their anniversary trip. I really do have the best customers.

Ryan had a great day yesterday while I did set redesign at church. Today I followed up with Alek, Max, and Hunter on this amazing late spring bite. We caught fish on planer boards, flat lines, down lines, and pitching. We didn't use all 7 dozen...we had to toss out 6 herring at the end🤣🤣

As we celebrate this Memorial Day Weekend, remember that it is a weekend to honor those who have given their life for the freedoms of this country. Brave men and women have died for our country for 250 years and this weekend is about honoring them.

Yesterday and today were lots of fun. I was holding the rod for Abel most of this morning, so not a lot of pics from today. Keep him in your prayers on June 17th. He will be in a body cast for quite some time and this active young man is not going to be a fan. Thank you for letting me get Abel and his granddad out on the lake.
