Sorellas not only enjoy our time on two wheels, but we also enjoy exploring this beautiful country on foot. 🥾Veronica Burman, first year to our racing team, recently hiked multiple trails at Joshua Tree National Park.🌵Way to enjoy the outdoors, Veronica!

Chris rode in the Southeast Hot Springs Gravel Gauntlet short course last weekend. Such a pretty course and what a day to come back to racing after some health set-backs. 🚴‍♀️

She scored second 🥈place in her AG! She also beat her time from last year by 10 minutes! And most importantly, she loved every second of it. 🙌

Last weekend, Karen R. rode in the Stetina Paydirt gravel race in Carson City, NV.

“Super cool race format with timed segments. Views were absolutely stunning, making up for the super rough and challenging terrain - chunky gravel, deep sinking sand, and so much single track with much of it having a steep drop off on one side. I finished 2nd in masters women 60+ (out of 2! 😂), but I'm super happy with my race. I only fell half a dozen times.🤦‍♀️ It was really beautiful and the race vibe was great. Also snagged a photo with Pete at the end.”

Nine Sorellas made their way to Jacksonville, AL last weekend for the Cheaha Challenge, the only North American UCI qualifier. 🚴‍♀️

Katie and Diane placed second🥈in the time trial in their respective AG! Diane placed second🥈in her AG for the 84 mile road race. They both qualify for Worlds later this year. Congrats, ladies!

And the rest of the Sorellas - Betsy H., Betsy M., Lea, Susan, Gina, Barbara and Laurel - had a blast riding in the metric and 84 mile rides. It was a hot one this year! 🥵

Cheaha Challenge

“We had a great group turnout to celebrate 30 years of riding the hills of Buckhead. The special ride included some words of motivation on the Olympic Hill. And a few more former Wednesday night riders joined us for dinner afterward. All in all a great night.” - Linda Rathje

A bunch of Sorellas and a couple of their fellas were out on a training ride for the upcoming Lifetime Unbound Gravel Race coming up on May 30th in Emporia, KS. It’s a special one too - the 20th anniversary. 🚵‍♀️

We have several Sorellas going who will ride in the 100 and 200 mile races. We hope to see some of you there! 🌱

Our Sorellas had an absolute blast at their annual Jackrabbit Camping Weekend last weekend! They rode MTN Saturday and Sunday, hiked, camped, swam, and enjoyed two glorious sunsets.

Teresa and her daughter, Jenna rode in Jenna’s first gravel ride yesterday. She did great. One country dog sprint, one giant downhill and, of course, the climb out.🚵‍♀️

We are welcoming past, present and future Sorella riders to gather for this iconic ride. It’s a 21-mile route at a 14-15 mph pace with 4-5 decent climbs. This is a women’s only ride. Simone participated in her first off-road triathlon last weekend! 🚴‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️🏃‍♀️‍➡️ She had a blast and enjoyed the day even in chilly temps. 🥶

We will be leading MTN, gravel and road rides followed by a potluck picnic and raffle give away immediately after the ride at the pavilion. 🚴‍♀️

This is always a really fun event and it’s a great time for our club members to bring a guest (of the female persuasion) to check out the club! 👯‍♀️
