When I was a kid, I wanted to be an Olympic Ice Skater. Lol, close enough. 🛼

Skating has truly been my safe space this year. I can just roll away from my problems, unplug, get off of social media, and work on something that has zero consequences in my life. I love this little hobby of mine. ❤️

When I mess around and learn a triple axel, it’s over for y’all.

My TESTIMONY 🙏🏾 About a month ago, I sat down and made a mini vision board for my career. I wrote down 6 big goals for journey to impacting others on a bigger scale. One of those goals was to be featured in a magazine. Only a few *hours* later, that same day- I got a DM asking if I would contribute to the an article about skating’s fitness benefits in a very popular publication. I was absolutely blown away and finished the interviewer’s questions in about 30 minutes 😂.

Sometimes, it’s easy to feel lost or like you’re not auccedding when things aren’t moving fast enough.. or according to plan. Just when you’re on your last bit of hope, God steps in with a big indication that you’re right where you are intended to be.

Excuse me if I go hard in the next several months 😊.

Thank you

Thank you for being so down ❤️.

If you’ve been feeling lost or unsure about your path in life, this is a sign for you too.

SHOULD YOU HIRE A TRAINER OR GO AT IT ALONE?

Now, I get it… you feel this may be a little biased being that I’m a trainer and all, but hear me out!!!

There is no right or wrong answer to this question, you just have to do what’s RIGHT for you. I can help you with that by asking. A few questions.

1. Do you have a plan for yourself?
2. Can you put together plan that will give you your desired results by yourself?
3. Are you self-motivated?
4. Do you have an accountability partner?
5. Do you know perfect form for most or all of the exercises you need to do?
6. Can you make changes to your diet that will help you and not harm you?

If you said “no” to 2 or more go these questions, then girl- you may need to go ahead and book that first session with a trainer. These are the things that a trainer can provide you on your way to a healthier life. These are some of the op reasons why people do hire a trainer, because we have the *expertise* to help you. This goes beyond just googling and guessing. Your trainer should be an expert full of knowledge and ready to educate you.

If you said yes to most of these, then go it alone! There is no shame in that and some people do very well on their own.

My last piece of advice here would be to rein you that in order to continue to be your best, you should always be a student, always be learning, and always stay hungry. Whether you’re with a trainer or not, you’ll have to sacrifice for this.

Love, V 🦋
