Saturday, September 28th, from 3-6 PM, we’re hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Grab-n-Go to support the victims of the Apalachee High School tragedy. For just $5, you can purchase a homemade spaghetti and meatball plate, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to aid those affected.
Pre-sale plates are available in-house or online, and this event is open to both YMCA members and the wider community.
Plates can be picked up at the field house at the YMCA (near the soccer fields) on Saturday between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Join us in making a difference and share this post to help us reach more people. Your support means everything.

April 22nd District Meet Info - Field Events
- Please note: The sheets are final and no changes will be made. Write-ins or any other changes are not allowed at this point.
- Weather: We are down to a 40-50% chance of showers at the start of the meet and it should move out quickly. I do not expect to have to delay anything, but if so, it would most likely be a short delay announced at the meet. Everyone needs to be there expecting to start on time.
- Please make sure your parents and athletes know that running events take priority. If they are at a field event and their running event is called, they need to report to the bullpen to run and then report back to the field event to complete their attempts. If you are running a field event tomorrow, please be patient within reason as we want to make sure athletes are able to complete their attempts. We will discuss more at our coaches meeting. An example of something that is not reasonable- an age group has completed their attempts and the event is done and an athlete then comes over wanting to complete their attempts without having previously checked in. We would not allow them to complete their attempts in that scenario.
- Live results: https://www.fastfeet.us/
- The top 3 in each individual event advance to the state meet and the first place relay advances to the state meet.
- Medals will be mailed next week. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event, including relays.
Information for tomorrow:
- Admission: Cash only-
Adults: $5; Students (ages 7-17): $2; Children 6 and under; free
- Eagle Sportz will be on site selling meet shirts. The concession stand will be fully stocked and a snow cone vendor will be on site.
- Seating is allowed on the visitor side (start/finish side) and home side. Canopies on the visitor side are only allowed up top- no doubling up with one in front of the other as view is obstructed for those to the side. On the home side, canopies can be anywhere. Canopies are not allowed to be set up on the walkways next to the track.
- We will have a coaches meeting at 8:15 near the timers tent. Field event clipboards and walkies will be distributed at the meeting.
Safe travels tomorrow and we will see you out there.
