Anything is Possible 5K

As you probably already know (but just in case you haven’t heard) AIP is cancelled for this year 😔… an email went out through active 3 days in a row this past week to all registered participants (so check your spam folders if you didn’t get it), the registration page has been updated, as is our event page. Instructions are also posted on the event page on our website.

If for any reason you didn’t receive the email, and/or if you sent an email but hadn’t received a response as of yet, please email [email protected]. The other email address has been acting up, so the gmail one is by far the best to use. You can also direct message us.

We hate that we could not pull off the 2022 event, but we will be back stronger than ever in 2023, and with a few other cities up our sleeve to come with it. AIP 5K RACE INSTRUCTIONS

NUMBER PICKUP AND WALKUP REGISTRATION

ALL number pickup will take place on site at the race. Both pickup and last minute registration will take place beginning at 1245am at the start of the race. This is late Saturday night / early Sunday morning.

If you signed up to run virtually, your swag will be mailed to you. If you signed up for the live run and do not pick up your swag, unfortunately, you will not be able to have your swag mailed.

***REMEMBER, THE 5K STARTS AT 150AM. THIS IS BEFORE THE TIME CHANGES. THE RACE IS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT / EARLY SUNDAY MORNING***

VENUE / PARKING / RESTROOMS

The race is at Town Center Mall, 400 Barrett Pkwy in Kennesaw. Please park only in the dedicated parking area on the map. Restrooms are inside the mall and indicated on the map. Please note there is no overnight parking available.

COURSE / AWARDS

The course is the "2-loop" course. Awards will be given on site one hour after the start. The awards are for the overall male and female, masters male and female, and top 3 male and female in 5 year age groups from 14 and under to 65 and over. Please not we do NOT mail awards out so please plan on sticking around.

VIRTUAL RUN INSTRUCTIONS

You will be able to submit your 5K time anytime between now and 11/7. Please follow all of the steps below in order to be included in the results;

- Run or walk a 5K anywhere - even on a treadmill. If you are running/walking outside, please make sure you are following all social distancing rules and follow ALL local, state, and federal mandates!

- Take a picture of your time/distance. It can be through Strava, Garmin, Mapmyrun, or even a picture of your watch or treadmill display. As long as we can see your distance / time, you are good.

- Email your proof to [email protected] within the time window posted above. Times submitted outside of this window will not count. Please include your full name in the email. Please put in the subject line "AIP5K Submission" This will help us know which event you are participating in.

Virtual Runner swag will be mailed 7-10 days after the race.
