Tough weekend. Had good speed with Sheflon Clay’s car on Friday. Then today’s practice got rained out. We made some changes based on the one practice round we had on old tires. The car fired off well, but then on about lap 25, the RR brake caliper failed. We missed it a little with the ST3 tire, but we still think we had a top 5 car. Unfortunately, we will never know. DNF’s are not fun. We will get it fixed and move on to the next one.

CLAY GOES 2 IN A ROW ON THE CAROLINA PRO LATE MODEL SERIES🏁
Sheflon Clay gets his second win in a row after turning in an impressive performance leading all but 10 laps of the event at Hickory Motor Speedway.

TH Motorsports had a great weekend! We were scheduled to race in the Caroline Pro Series at Hickory, but we made a last-minute decision to compete with Tanner in the limited late model race as well. Hickory's rules are quite different from what we're used to, so we had to swap everything over to fit our late model package. We knew we would be at a disadvantage with our motor package, but at that point, we focused on racing our own race.

Tanner really got up on the wheel and brought it home in fourth place! He and the car looked unreal. If we had been on the same playing field with the same motor packages, he definitely had a winning race car. Plus, Sheflon went back-to-back at Hickory, which added to the excitement of the weekend.

Overall, I would say TH had a blessed weekend. I can't thank all of our partners and teams enough for allowing us to manage and set up their race cars. It’s been a great start to the race season, and we feel truly blessed!
