Something changes inside us when we feel truly seen.

At our recent NOURISH Women’s Retreat, I was reminded how healing it can be to gather in spaces where we don’t have to perform, hold it all together, or hide the tender parts of ourselves.

There was laughter, vulnerability, nervous system settling, honest reflection, and the kind of connection that happens when people feel safe enough to be real.

By the end of the day, faces had softened. Bodies relaxed. Hearts were playful. The room felt more open, grounded, and alive.

Healing doesn't come from "fixing" ourselves. It comes from letting our messy, beautiful, real selves be witnessed with presence and care.

🌿 If you’re craving an intentional space to land in your body more fully, regulate your nervous system, and find true camaraderie with beautiful souls, I’d love to welcome you to our next NOURISH Women's Retreat.

🌿 And if you want a taste of intuitive work community-style, my upcoming Live Intuitive Reading Circle is a beautiful way to receive guidance, witness others’ processes, and deepen trust in your inner knowing.

I spent part of my twenties living off-grid in a rural mountain town in Patagonia, Argentina.

With no phone reception or wifi for miles, it was easy to be exactly where I was—in a wild, beautiful forest interspersed with farmland, dirt roads, turquoise rivers, and magical swinging bridges.

And yes… little gnomes under the bridges. ;)

I took in everything. The stories the landscape told... the sounds and smells that fed my senses... The people I encountered who were warm and available.

Mindfulness wasn't something I practiced. It just happened. There were no distractions pulling me out of the moment. No multi-tasking, no trying to coordinate an event from my phone. No rush to get anywhere. Just me and the unfolding of the day.

That time gave me a window into a slower way of being. It showed me the beauty of simplicity, and what it feels like to have my attention in one place. My nervous system was very happy there!

These days, life looks very different—running a business, raising a toddler, moving through a faster-paced world. I find I have to be much more intentional about creating those moments.

Can you relate?

It’s ironic - we have more tools, more access at our fingertips, more ways to be efficient… which often leads to doing more, filling our calendars, and splitting our attention across multiple channels at once.

And so, we find ourselves in the very real PRACTICE of mindfulness!

If you’re craving a space to slow down and reconnect with your body, heart, and spirit, we’ll be doing exactly that at my NOURISH Spring Retreat for Women this Sunday 🌿

There’s still time to join if you’re feeling the pull.

Happy Earth Day! 🌏💗

Hope you found a moment today to slow down and take in the living world around us - whether that be getting your hands in the dirt, doing something regenerative, smelling the blossoms, hugging a tree... or watering your plants with extra intention. :)

And, may these acts carry on into each day. After all, EVERY day is earth day!

Here's a snippet from a song called Roots & Blossoms - inspired by Spring, nature's rhythm, and our connection to it.

Decision fatigue is real these days!

So many inputs, so much noise. And so many moments where we doubt ourselves—even when we've already chosen.

Just recently I went through this around a business decision, investing in visibility, then suddenly questioning everything as fears came up.

What I keep coming back to is this:
Doubt doesn't always mean you're off track. It means, you are human! And often, you are just overwhelmed with information.

I shared a simple intuitive practice in my latest newsletter for what to do when you're in a decision spiral.

In a nutshell:
-> speak the doubt out loud
-> name the emotion present without judging it
-> come back into your body and heart
-> ask for guidance
-> listen quietly

We don't need more pressure to "get it right".
We need more practice coming back to ourselves, and hearing what's true inside.

You can find the full practice in my newsletter archives.

Or sign up for "Trust is a Practice" to receive my weekly letters with inspiration, stories, and tools to step into your intuitive gifts while keeping your feet on the ground.

I finally started using ChatGPT… probably later than most. 😆 (This is coming from someone who lived off-grid in Argentina and had a flip phone way past its prime.)

At first I was skeptical... what does a robot know about feelings, body awareness, lived experience?

But after a while I began to see its value, especially with the right prompts and mindset.

I also saw its limitations. (Note to self - tone of conviction and certainty does not mean it's actually CORRECT!)

Here's where I've landed:

AI can be super helpful in the right contexts. And, it can never replace certain things, like touching your feet on the ground, or tuning into your inner knowing.

Only you know what's true for you. What's right in your body. What's aligned with your soul purpose.

The more we rely on external tools, the more important it becomes to stay connected to that inner knowing.

Curious… how do you stay connected to your intuition?

🌿 If you want support strengthening your inner signal, I'm currently offering 1:1 mentorship + intuitive readings. More here: https://www.danahersh.com/sessions-with-dana

There’s a particular feeling when something’s left open. A sense of subtle exposure… sometimes around your back body, or just at the edge of your awareness.

It might be energetic. It might be emotional. It might be literal, like too many tabs open or a door left ajar.

But your body notices.
And it speaks.

Lately, I’ve been paying attention to the boundaries in my personal life and home space… what needs reinforcing, and what shifts when I intentionally tend to them.

Sometimes it looks like closing a loop. Sometimes it’s having a conversation. And sometimes, it’s as simple as setting an energetic boundary with clear intention (which is underrated, and SO powerful!).

I speak about this in my last newsletter and share some wild stories - check it out for the full scoop!

“There’s a Hole in My Fence! Energy leaks and what to do about them” —> https://mailchi.mp/a0229231bfbb/theres-a-hole-in-my-fence?e=db16b6ccc7

Your system knows when something’s off. The question is—how do you listen? 🩷
