The past few weeks Iāve seen people & even a friend in my age group leave this earth quick. Itās truly opened my eyes and my heart to the fact that life is absolutely not promised. Old age is not promised.
Itās not a secret that I have been struggling with depression, my faith with God, and just my overall life purpose since I gave birth.
Iāve been truly in a spiritual battle for my mind. Almost every day this year Iāve questioned whether me staying alive was worth it. Thinking that no one would care if I was here or not. Barely making it through the day. Struggling with feeling worthless, struggling with feeling forgotten by people and questioning if people actually even care about me, struggling with my world just feeling small.
My promise Iām making today to God, myself, my husband, my child and my momma is that I start living my life. And not just living it by just existing but actually enjoying it. My life may not be perfect, I have tons of things I want to fix but being miserable every day is no way to live. The best lesson I could give myself after reading about the lives of people I know and know of and how great of an impact they left on the people they leave behind is to LIVE and most importantly LOVE.
Also feels like itās fitting I come to this conclusion today because itās my Grannyās birthday and I know that this lesson is something she would have definitely told me if I talked to her about it. I miss her so š„ŗ
