We had an awesome first race at the Millidgeville Throwdown for the first stop in the .cycling 2025 season. Our Buford racers left it all on the trail and our female riders Rylyn and Ryann secured 3rd place podium spots for 7th grade and Varsity categories. Great job to all riders!

Buford's Kamden Clack Commits to Ohio State Buford junior Kamden Clack announced his commitment last week to the Ohio State University men’s lacrosse program.

The Georgia Cycling Association race season officially started this past weekend with the Match in Milledgeville.

This weekend was quite the experience. We started off with a new venue and the course was so new, the smell of fresh cut pine was still in the air. On top of that, it rained all Friday night and let up just as the racing started.

Brice and Oliver started things off with the JV1 race. They got to experience wet muddy Georgia clay for 3 laps. By the time Ryann started the girls JV1 race the conditions were already starting to improve. When Austin started the JV2 race, it was a completely different course.

We finished the day off with some battle tales and a Girls JV1 leader coming into the next race. Also, shout out to coach Mason for awarding medals, sweeping JV1 boys on Saturday for the East, and then JV2 boys on Sunday for the West conference.

We are less than two weeks from the first race of the season. In preparation for the Match at Milledgeville on 9/7, we had a mock race with our fellow Prima Tappa Athletic Club practice teams at Fox Raceface XC Trail at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this past weekend. It was perfect day to get out there and test our legs and racing strategies.

We awesome time yesterday partnering up North Gwinnett Mountain Bike Team to open the Fox Raceface XC Trail at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to the public as fundraiser to support Prima Tappa Athletic Club youth mountain biking in Georgia.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support us and have a blast on the trails.
