𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝟕 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐓 — and the Georgia Cycling Association season moves fast this year. First race is 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡, with time trials for returning/experienced riders on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟗𝐭𝐡.

So yeah… it’s time to dust off your bike and start riding. Trails, neighborhood, your backyard — doesn’t matter. Just get some saddle time. Here’s a simple week-by-week plan to get you ready to hit the ground rolling.

Before you ride, do a quick 𝐀𝐁𝐂 check:

Then get out and ride.

Gorgeous riding weather this weekend and Dragons riders took advantage to hone their technical skills ahead of the Georgia Cycling Association season! Braxton Lindauer, Wyatt Tilson, and Jack Siebert all shredded the gnar at Jarrod’s Place. Off-season races are an excellent training aid. They expose you to different levels of competition, more challenging trails, and the wider sport. The group at GoneRiding.com puts on the Georgia State Championship Series and they have a great race at Yonah this weekend. Your rider will need a USAC license to race but you can purchase a one-day license when you register.
