Note that workshops are divided into 2 age brackets and that activities will be planned on site for siblings not participating in the workshop! ZebraCat Productions would like to welcome you to our private screening of Pa. We are thrilled to finally be able to showcase this film to our friends, families, and supporters who have been along this journey with us and helped bring this dream to life.
What better place to premiere our film than the Tara Theater, one of Atlanta’s most historic cinemas. With its recent renovations and beautiful venue space, we are honored to bring everyone together in such a gorgeous location to appreciate the work and dedication of this exceptionally talented team.
But that’s not all! We have also invited a select few filmmakers to showcase some of their work leading up to the premiere of Pa. After a year marked by strikes in the film industry, we want to highlight other filmmakers who, like us, persevered and continued creating even during such a trying time.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with the team behind Pa.
Directors Statement:
I can’t express how excited I am to be able to share this film with each and every one of you - from those who were there from the beginning when this story was little more than a dream to those who may just be learning about it for the first time. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported Pa, whether morally or through our crowdfund campaign, and an extra big thanks to our incredible cast and crew. It was truly the best team I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and I hope you are all proud of what we created together.
For those who don’t work in film, I hope Pa offers a glimpse of life in the industry and the challenges that come along with it. For everyone else, I hope our film reminds you of your grandparents and - if you’re lucky enough to still have them in your life - moves you to give them a call to let them know you appreciate them. Pa is the proof of concept for a feature film. I would love for all of you to one day get to experience the full vision of this story. For tonight, I hope you enjoy this short.
