Turner Field used to be used for the Olympics before it was the Home of Atlanta Braves Baseball. The Braves 10 retired players are #3 Dale Murphy, #6 Bobby Cox, #21 Warren Spahn, #29 John Smoltz, #31 Greg Maddux, #35 Phil Niekro, #41 Eddie Mathews, #44 Hank Aaron, #42 Jackie Robinson, and #47 Tom Glavine. #44 Hank Aaron is the most popular Hall-of-Fame retired player obviously in 1974 he past Babe Ruth for the most home runs All-time in Baseball history. He finished his career by hitting 755 home runs. 2012 was a historic year for the most popular Braves player ( Atlanta's favorite son ) ( #10 Chipper Jones ) he retired in 2012.
