SeaWolves Swim Team

Seawolves rocked the pool this morning with our younger group. We brought home several 1st, 2nd, 3rd places for their 1st swim meet. Coaches are super proud of our strong swimmers! 🐺 🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️ 🐺

Happy Thanksgiving to all our swim families! We are so thankful for parents and their dedication to get their swimmers to practice. We are thankful for allowing/trusting us to help your children grow their love of swimming and just maybe an Olympian 🏊‍♀️ 🐺

Many State cuts and Sectional cuts were made in the past two swim meets. 10 and under swimmers swam in a 2 day meet in Columbus 16/17 and 11 and up swam in a 2 day meet in Augusta this weekend! Coaches are proud! Go SeaWolves 🐺 🏊‍♀️

What a great meet to get the season started! Our 4 new swimmers were a great surprise for their first meet against such a large group of 9-10 year old swimmers from the Hurricanes. We are very proud of all of our swimmers and can’t wait to see how they improve this season. In case some of you have not downloaded Meet Mobile to your phones yet, we have summarized the placement for each swimmer in all their events this past Saturday. We had 21 FIRST place finishes! 25 2nd or 3rd place finishers! We entered 63 races and 46 of those races were 3rd place or better. That is a great way to start the season.
Several swimmers got their first state and/or JO cuts ever,… and several are already getting their first senior state cuts.

Results from our 3 day 2020 GA 14 & Under SC Championships are in - SeaWolves placed 2nd overall in Division 3!! What an accomplishment with only 3 swimmers that qualified! We were up against larger teams and still came out on top! Hats off to Asher Cooper, Katie Ward and Mallorie Moore for the determination and effort! Sunday races : Asher placed 2nd 200Fly, 4th 100Back, 3rd 500FR. Katie placed 4th 100IM, 2nd 200Fly, 1st 100Back. Mallorie placed 4th 100BR, 3rd 50FR, 2nd 100IM, 2nd 100Back, 1st 200FR. Mallorie also was awarded 1st place for highest points overall!! They brought home a total of 18 metals and 11 ribbons! 2020 State Championships was well rewarded and lots of fun! Coaches are super proud! 🏊‍♂️🐺⭐

2nd Day of Winter State at Ga Tech was a blast! Asher Cooper placed 4th 100Fly, 4th 200FR, 3rd 400IM. Katie Ward placed 7th 200BR, 3rd 100Fly, 2nd 400IM. Mallorie Moore placed 2nd 200IM, 3rd 50BR, 2nd 100FR, 3rd 50Bk, 8th 100Fly. Our small team is racking up the points! Awesome swims today, coaches are super proud! 🏊‍♂️🐺

Way to go SeaWolves! 3 day swim meet in Columbus this past weekend was a blast! It was a first for a few on certain strokes, 98% times were dropped again since December meet, and several brought home the gold, silver and bronze!
