This is so fun …a piece of racing history that I was involved with over a decade ago … lives on!

A few cars we’ve done all gathered together at The Driving Club at Road Atlanta

FASTEST GRAPHICS IN RACING

Due to a new technology that is a proprietary product of David Designs called Helium Wrap, cars are going faster! In this groundbreaking product Helium is infused into the glue pattern using Nano technology. This heat activated micro technology has allowed the material to become lighter when speeds and temperatures on the track increase- thereby creating a faster, lighter, race car. Helium Wrap has therefore produced quite a few wins in 2018 which means race customers are glad they came to David designs for their wraps!

In all actuality these Teams are just fast! There is no new DD technology that was developed for the wrap industry. These teams just did their best in 2018... just like David
Designs does its best for the Race Teams that call on them! Ignore all that mumbo jumbo up there about Nano helium infusion...LOL Just wishful thinking and if it did exist I'm sure the Race Sanctioning Body would outlaw it.

We were glad to be involved with these Winners this year! David Designs did full wraps on all these cars, and has been doing the wraps and graphics for Paul Miller Racing and Team TGM for many years. Yoest Racing was a new client for us about halfway through this race season and we are already planning next years work together. I don't have all the stats, but here are a few.

Paul Miller has 2 wins and 8 podiums this year in their Lamborghini Huracan, At Petit Lemans PMR finished 3rd in the GTD Class at the Petit Lemans securing them the GTD Championship for 2018 !! We changed their livery up for The Petit Lemans from what we had been doing for them all season and it was a big hit.

Team TGM had 4 podiums this year in the #46 Mercedes AMG GT and they also secured the IMSA 2018 Championship for their GS class!

Joest Racing had 2 Mazda Prototypes racing all season and they secured a 2nd and 3rd place podium with these cars at Petit Lemans.Quite an accomplishment since Petit Lemans is a 10 hour Endurance Race.

There was allot of Champagne being sprayed around this weekend from all these teams and it was exciting to be involved. I look forward to all the livery changes that are brewing for the upcoming season and some of those are actually starting on Monday!

Lamborghini wins the 12 Hours of Sebring

We designed this homage livery and full wrapped this JPS Porsche. The car was white. Its now been featured in a magazine and made into a model slotcar. Very cool!
