Luca Hull Racing

Made it to Penton Karting Track last night. Changed up plans on what other class for Luca to run. That made for a hell of a hustle changing up our set up from our original plan. Busted ass changing up the Kart, went out and made fast time in qualifying for Green plate Predator and brought home a first win in that class! 🏁

Red plate clone we started 4th made it up to 2nd but was over driving some and wound up with a DNF, thats how it goes sometimes. We learn everytime we go out.

Bentlee drove a heck of a race In Ducar 360. Started 5th and after all the beating and banging on the starts and getting spun out he still managed a 5th place finish. He’s not happy with 5th but he drove a great race and can wheel that thing!

Picked up the win at Halloween Havoc at Penton Karting Track! Qualified on the pole in Prediator Red Class and lead every lap to the checkered flag!

In Red Plate Clone we qualified 2nd just 2 tenths off first. Drove it to the front for the lead and was battled by 2nd place back to second . Was racing hard for the lead again and had contact with the other kart. Luca was sent to the back for supposedly causing the other to spin. After watching the race live, on video and talking to others it looked like just hard racing to us. No hard feelings with the other driver but I do feel as if it was a bad call by whoever made it. We had a hot rod but just ran out of time to get back to the front. We wound up finishing 4th. We have been shoved around and spun by others in the past and never seen a call like that. Part of racing we try to understand.

The Bandit did it again! Due to transponder issues we were forced to start in the rear of the field! Didn’t bother Luca none…… he drove that Charger chassis hot rod to the front to win the annual Darrell Jones Memorial! Thank you all that help make this possible for us do this!

We were fast in red plate clone as well . Ran the fastest laps we have in red plate tonight. Was going for 2nd on the last lap but it didn’t work out in our favor after a little contact of just hard racing .

Bentlee had a fast ride again qualifying 3rd out of 12 I think. Some were super fast go karts. Got shuffled back and made it back to 4th then shuffled back again. Needed some luck but he drove it flawless!

We are sending out a get well soon to a fellow teammate Luca and Ben both look up too! Get well soon Ty ! You were riding tonight buddy!

Heck of a good night racing at Penton Karting Track!

We were able to put all 3 go karts on the pole in qualifying! Heck of an accomplishment there in our book.
Luca went on to win Predator Red class tonight sealing the already locked in deal on the points championship in that class for this year! I can’t tell you the dedication he has had this year at everything he does ….baseball, football , racing and school work! Some don’t realize the sacrifices that a kid makes to race for points during a season. We are super proud of him. He is actually going to finish 2nd in points in Red Plate clone class. He has run with older kids in this class and we have worked and worked to get this kart dialed in for him . We are getting closer. Tonight didn’t go our way in the feature but we were definitely fast and making progress!
Bentlee ran a hell of a race and got his first win! He had that thing on a rail!! Good job Ben and Luca!! I’m thinking he will lock in 2nd or 3rd for this seasons points depending on tonight.

After a wild week of football and a Saturday morning football game we rolled up at Penton Karting Track this weekend and Luca pulled off another win in Predator Red! Started on the pole and lead to the checker flag! In Red Plate Clone he started 3rd and finished 3rd! Glad to get some more seat time in that class! It’s all gonna come together soon!

Bentlee started 2nd out of a fast field of 10 karts. Let me say this boy and the 11C hot rod was rolling!! Fastest in his class Saturday night and ran a hell of a race passing for first on the 1st lap. Unfortunately with a lap and a half to go he drove it a little high out of 2 and lost it. We can’t tell you how proud he made us despite the outcome. It showed his talent and how fast his kart really is! Crazy proud of Luca & Ben both!

We gotta give a BIG thank you to AAA Racing, Kenny Hendrix, Ryan Ellerbee & Ty Ellerbee for all their help last week on and off the track! We Couldn’t have done it without you guys!
