Founded by a group of runners in 1981, the Peachtree City Running Club has become one of the largest and most active clubs in the Southeast.

The club was formed to promote and stimulate an interest in the sport of running; to encourage physical exercise, sportsmanship and friendship; to encourage individual members to strive for proficiency, conditioning and safety. We are an active club and club members get together to run almost every day of the week. We have weekly fun runs on Saturday mornings, monthly Grand Prix events, a Summer T

Club Members “On the Run” - last weekend a few of our club members ran the yetitrailrunners Snakebite 50/50 at Sweetwater Creek State Park. Covering the trail in distances from half marathon to 50k and beyond were club members and friends David & toniscarbrough1 , adamglendye , Dan B, Curtis & jlmanis , evanruns7 , Anna B, & Rachel S. It was a fun trail party with all the challenges hot, hilly terrain can offer. Special thanks to mrinspiration1 Jarian Rich !!!

BREAKING! 56:51! New Half Marathon WORLD RECORD!🏃‍♂️😱 🔥

Yomif Kejelcha just ran 56:51 for the half marathon in Buenos Aires, putting himself back at the top of the all-time list.

The Ethiopian took 29 seconds off the 57:20 mark set by Jacob Kiplimo earlier this year. Kejelcha had previously held the record with 57:30 in Valencia in 2024.

His average pace was an astonishing 2:42 per kilometer (4:20 per mile) for 21.1 km.

The 56:51 is currently awaiting official ratification.
