Be sure you are hydrating your body properly before and after class with water, not anything too sugary! Your muscles, brain, and joints will thank you!

Fun Fact Wednesday!

The origins of Ballet comes from the royal Italian court, but the art of ballet that has been passed down from generation to generation is due to the first school of ballet being in France, so the terms are all in French!

Dance Tip Friday!

Why would dancers need to keep their hair secured away from their face? There are multiple reasons but the main one is safety. Dancers often work on turning very quickly. When hair is not secured away from their face, it can fly in their face and damage their eyes! Secure your hair in a proper ballet bun to keep your dancer's eyes safe!

See Ms Amy or a volunteer to find out how to create a proper ballet bun!

Fun Fact Wednesday!

Ancient Hebrew dancing held a good amount of symbolism within each movement and pattern. The circle symbolizes unity and celebration! Ask Ms Amy to teach you her favorite Israeli circle dance! Its so much fun!

Let's start the week off with Scripture!

In today's verse we are given a promise of hope - for renewed strength! May we lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus who can carry us when we are down and lift our heads when we are weary!

Have a great week!
