Are you SURE you want your kid to be a dawg? Are you sure you want them to play on an elite level? If so, you gotta let their hand go! Stop “holding” everything for them and start holding them accountable! Every level they are trying to get to requires a different version of them before they get there! Colleges will expect your athlete to come READY! They won’t teach them how to be responsible, they will test them to see if they’re RESPONSIVE! When I was running track at Cal State, there was 6am weight training. I had class from 8 am- 12 pm, I had to be on the track by 1-3, back in the weight room directly after, class again at 6, and study table until 8. I was already prepared for the workload because I trained myself to get used to it in high school! Do these kids a favor and allow them to be uncomfortable on purpose sometimes! Most of my training sessions consist of teaching them how to get comfortable being uncomfortable! Comment the word TRAIN to get your athletes registered today!
