Jocelyn was one of the original Penn Girls Rugby players and coaches.
She came out of retirement to support the Lady Kingsmen Board for as long as she physically could. She has dedicated countless years to playing, coaching, mentoring, and building this club into what it is today. So many of us would not have the memories, friendships, and opportunities we do without her unwavering love for rugby and for this community.

Now, she needs our support.

A huge congratulations to these fine players for their State win today! The excitement, quick decisions, and teamwork was beautifully displayed. The players are what you see on the field, but let's take a moment to spotlight our head coach.

Corrin played for Penn and came back to take over with a passion for the game and its players. Before the season started, club development was the goal. Many administrative decisions were made to grow the club and a new head coach grew into her role.

Watching your confidence grow was all worth it to see that huge smile on your face. Keep on dancing Corrin! It's not usual for a first time head coach to bring a team to state and win. You are exceptional, and you will make exceptional players. I’m rooting for you! Great job Penn!

This win is a result of months of hard work and dedication by the 20 members of the team, led by head coach Corrin Adamo and assistant coach Melissa Paz.

When asked about the season Coach Adamo said, “Rugby has become so much more to me than just a sport, it’s a passion that has completely shaped my life and given me the opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful. Taking these girls to state for their first time is an accomplishment that means more than words can explain, not only for me as a coach, but for every single one of them who poured their heart into this journey. Being able to witness their growth over the years, both on and off the field, has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’ve watched them become stronger athletes, more confident leaders, and incredible young women, and knowing I was able to play even a small role in that means everything to me. This team has created memories, bonds, and milestones that will stay with us forever, and I could not be more proud or grateful to be doing what I love alongside a group of girls who continue to inspire me every single day.”

The Lady Kingsmen rugby team is entirely self funded as girls rugby is not an IHSAA recognized sport.
