Gannon University Women's Rugby Club to Compete for National Championship The Gannon University Women's Rugby Club is on their way to compete for a national championship this weekend.

As this chapter closes, we want to take a moment to honor the seniors who’ve given their heart, grit, blood and sweat to this team. You’ve been more than just players — you’ve been leaders, mentors, and great friends on and off the field.

From practices to unforgettable wins (and tough losses), to team bonding and away trips you’ve carried this team with pride and passion. You’ve set the tone for what it means to wear this jersey, and your legacy will live in every tackle, every try, and every new player who walks onto the field

We’ll miss your energy, your voice, and your leadership — but most of all, we’ll miss you as teammates. Thank you for everything. The field won’t be the same without you.

Happy National Girls and Women in sports day. We are so incredibly proud of our past, current and future athletes that we’ve had on this team. Rugby is not an easy sport and there’s always a lot of blood sweat and tears after each game. Our girls continue to show up and leave it all out on the field. This team is run off of the dedication of our athletes and we couldn’t be any prouder of them and how far they’ve come and how hard they have worked to get where they are. GO KNIGHTS❤️💛
