Temple Fitness is a women's fitness class at Maysville Baptist Church. We meet on Tuesday & Thursday at 6:30pm. It is a free class. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

We had an extra special visitor tonight at temple fitness. As mama’s it’s hard to find an hour of alone time, I mean we can’t even hardly go to the bathroom alone, much less find an hour to workout SO bring them with you! They can run around the room and have a good time with us!!!

What a great workout! My arms definitely feel like jello but it feels so good. This is how I structure my workouts at temple fitness we do a whole body workout but focus on one part of the body at a time.
Lower body➡️cardio burst➡️upper body➡️cardio burst➡️core➡️stretching.
For upper/lower/core we do 5 exercises for 45 sec and repeat 3 times. Cardio we do 2-3 exercises for 30 sec repeat 2 times. Stretching and short rests we are there about an hour. Structuring it this way gives you the chance to go at your own pace.
I’m telling you it’s so much easier to get it in there then to get distracted at home. And bring your kiddos they are welcome to hang with us. See the next post about that!

Temple Fitness tonight at 6:30pm. What do we do at Temple Fitness we workout for about 45 mins to an hour. You go at your own pace. So if you’re just beginning come on tonight and get started. It’s a great way to get a good workout in and have fun while exercising.

Alternating run/walk again today followed by abs. What’s your work out of the day?

Get it started at home. I alternated walking and running for 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm up and cool down. Followed that up with some leg workouts:
-20 sitting leg raises weighted x3
-20 straight leg deadlifts weighted x3
-20 back squats x3
-20 alternating curtsy lunges x3
-10 power cleans x3.

Temple Fitness is gearing up to start back soon. We will begin our next challenge on Feb 4th at 6:30pm. I’m so excited to get back to group workouts after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. In the meantime start at home. I challenge you to add something in the month of January. Start with challenging yourself to getting your water intake in and walking a mile a day. Start with small steps they add up to big results. I can’t wait to see you all on Feb 4th at 6:30pm. We will weigh in and get this challenge started.
Temple Fitness will be canceled tonight and next week for Fall break. We will resume on Thursday 10/17/19
