It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved friend and founder of Helping One Guy, Bob Kelly.
As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind and honor the life of a true Christian – a man who faithfully served as the hands and feet of Jesus through his compassion, generosity and unwavering love for others.
Bob’s legacy is one of kindness, selfless service and generosity. Through the organization he founded, in September 2012, Helping One Guy, he touched the lives of many men and their families by offering love, encouragement, support and financial assistance during some of their most difficult times of their lives. Bob's kindness was a true blessing to every “one guy” he helped.
Bob also had a passion for children with special needs. He dedicated his time to coaching in the Acworth Horizon league, hosted an annual Santa Breakfast and raised funds for the league.
In recognition of his dedication and the impact of Helping One Guy, the Horizon League honored him in 2024 by retiring a Helping One Guy jersey, which proudly hangs on the fence at Horizon Field in Acworth.
On behalf of Helping One Guy Board of Directors, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bob’s friends, our sponsors who have supported Helping One Guy through the years. Bob was always deeply thankful for your generosity, and we share that gratitude today.
