Why God will call you wicked…

The servant with one talent wasn't condemned because he had less.

He was condemned because he buried what he had been given.

He allowed fear to keep him from using his gift.

Maybe you've been waiting for more before you start.

More money.
More experience.
More confidence.
More confirmation.

But God may be asking:

“What are you doing with what I've already given you?”

Your gift is not just something to have.

It is something to steward.

Don't bury what God entrusted to you.

📖 Matthew 25:14–30

Distraction rarely introduces itself as danger. It often looks like another request, another scroll, another opportunity, another urgent thing.

Your attention is one of your most valuable resources. This week, protect it with a clear no so you can give a meaningful yes to what matters.

What distraction are you putting boundaries around?

Do we still have quiet times?

A time set aside to read the word, meditate and pray to God. We live in a very noisy world now, because the world is now captured in the palms of your hand.

But don't forget your quiet time of prayer and devotion to God. The noise will still be there when you're done. Put the phone down, open the word, and let Him speak.

A quieter you. A closer God.

The most important leadership work is often unseen. Before you ask others to follow you, make space to examine what is shaping you.

These questions are not a test to pass; they are an invitation to lead with humility and intention. Screenshot them for your next reflection time.

Which question deserves your attention right now?

You will not always feel one hundred percent ready. Sometimes commitment is the very place where confidence, wisdom, and direction begin to grow.

Do not confuse a lack of certainty with a lack of calling. Ask for wisdom, choose the next faithful step, and trust God with what unfolds after that.

What are you ready to commit to this week?

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that sometimes God gives us a word, but we choose the part we want to see happen and leave out the part that requires patience.

We love the promise, but not always the process.

We want to **“run and not be weary”** and **“walk and not faint,”** but sometimes we skip the part that says, **“those who wait on the Lord.”** (Isaiah 40:31)

But the waiting is part of the word too.

God’s promise does not cancel out His process. Sometimes, the instruction is not “Go.” Sometimes, it is simply **“Wait.”**

And waiting on God is not doing nothing. It is trusting Him, preparing yourself, and refusing to move ahead of His timing.

So, before you call it a delay, ask yourself:

“Did God actually tell me to go, or did He tell me to wait?”

The waiting season is not evidence that God has forgotten you. It may be the place where your strength, discernment, and...

The waiting season is not evidence that God has forgotten you. It may be the place where your strength, discernment, and character are being built.

You do not have to manufacture motion to prove faith. Faith can look like obedience in the next clear step.

Save this for the days waiting feels heavy.

How do you know this delay is not devilish?

Every delay is not from the devil.

Sometimes, what feels like a delay is actually God saying, “Wait.”

One of the ways you can discern the difference is by learning to recognize God’s voice. When God says, “Wait,” it may not make sense to you in the moment, but obedience requires trusting His timing.

A delay from the enemy is meant to hinder God’s purpose. But a waiting season from God is often meant to prepare you for it.

There is a difference between being delayed and being directed to wait.

So before you rebuke every delay, pause and ask:

“Lord, is this something I need to fight, or is this something You are asking me to wait for?”

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.” — Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)

Busyness can make us feel needed, while fruitfulness asks us to be faithful. The difference is not how much you carry; it is whether what you carry is connected to purpose.

Before the new week becomes loud, ask yourself: what is one thing I can remove so I can give my best attention to what matters?

Share this with someone who needs permission to slow down.

A full calendar can still feel empty when it is not connected to assignment. Purpose is not a performance for other people; it is faithful stewardship of what God has placed in you.

If one of these signs felt familiar, do not shame yourself. Pause, pray, and make room to tell the truth.
