Join us Tuesday, July 7th, 6:30 in the PHS media center to welcome Coach Sauls and his family.

RELEASE: Pepperell High Announces New Baseball Coach 🎉⚾💛

Pepperell High School (PHS) has announced the hiring of Cody Sauls as the new Head Baseball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. In addition to his coaching duties, Sauls will join the PHS Special Education Department.

Sauls, a graduate of Villa Rica High School and the University of West Georgia, brings seven years of teaching experience to the Dragons. He most recently served as an assistant coach at South Paulding High School and currently coaches with the USA Prime National Detroit Tigers Scout team.

Sauls takes over for Coach Chad Brown, who resigned in June after a great career with the Dragons. Brown led the program to a 154-69 record, securing four region championships and a state runner-up finish in 2025. PHS and FCS thank Coach Brown and his family for their impact on the Lindale community and wish them the best in their next chapter.

The Pepperell Dugout Club will host a public meet-and-greet with the new coaching staff tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7, at 6:30 PM in the PHS Media Center. All community members, students, and families are invited to attend.

Pepperell Baseball is headed to the Sweet 16! ⚾️

We’re so proud of these boys and all the hard work they’ve put in to get here. As they continue their playoff run, we’re asking for support to help offset travel and meal expenses.

Offseason workouts are beginning

Last week Coach Brown met with athletes interested in trying out for baseball in January. With that comes this week's beginning of offseason workouts.
