Your to-do list is keeping you busy but it is not making you better. I used to wake up every morning and write out this massive list of tasks, feeling productive just by looking at it. But at the end of the day I felt exhausted and still somehow unfulfilled because the list never ended.

A success list is short, intentional and laser focused on what actually moves the needle. It asks one powerful question every single morning. What matters most today in your work, your family and your own personal growth?

Thinkers like Jon Acuff and Ed Mylett consistently remind us that true progress comes from doing fewer things with greater intention, not from staying frantically busy.

Drop "SUCCESS" in the comments if you are ready to ditch your to-do list and build a success list starting today.

What looks like instant success rarely happens instantly. We often label someone an overnight success, but we rarely see the years of steady effort behind the moment. The spotlight may turn on quickly, yet the preparation usually stretches far longer than anyone realizes.

I have learned that real success forms in unseen hours of discipline, sacrifice, and pressure. Those refining seasons shape character long before recognition arrives. As leaders like Author Patrick Lencioni and Andy Andrews emphasize, growth happens quietly before it becomes visible.

So instead of chasing sudden results, I focus on consistent effort that compounds over time and makes a lasting difference.

Don't pray to be an overnight success.
Keep pushing with consistent effort day in and day out, year in and year out.

The strongest leaders don’t walk into rooms to speak first. They walk in prepared to listen.

That posture sets the tone for everything that follows. When leaders make room for perspective and honest feedback, conversations deepen and insight surfaces. As questions replace assumptions, understanding grows. Listening brings clarity, and humility keeps that clarity working over time. When people feel heard, they contribute more freely, and decisions improve because leaders stay open to viewpoints beyond their own.

This approach strengthens leadership by strengthening relationships. Voices around the table often carry insight no single leader can see alone. Leaders like Jon Acuff and Ed Mylett consistently point to curiosity as a mark of mature leadership. Quiet confidence creates space for wisdom to surface.

Listen first today. Let better answers find you.

Big success? It starts with one tiny domino.

You know what's wild? The biggest wins don't come from one massive leap. They come from that first small step that sets everything in motion.

Here's what I've learned: when you knock over that first domino, each next one is literally twice its size. At first, it feels insignificant. You're showing up daily and it doesn't look like much. But that's when the magic is brewing. Leaders like Author Patrick Lencioni and Andy Andrews have taught me this: consistency isn't sexy, but it's everything.

Most people quit right before the breakthrough.

So ask yourself: what's the one consistent action you could commit to today that would become your first domino?

Drop it in the comments below.

Real leadership is built when we step into the fire instead of running from it. I have seen over and over that the hardest moments are the ones that shape who we become, even when we would rather avoid them.

When the pressure rises and the situations feel unbearable, that is where our courage is tested, and our purpose starts to become clear šŸ‘ˆ.

That truth is what led me to write The Crucible Principle, because every leader faces storms that either refine them or stop them. Whether you lead at home, at work, or in your community, those moments of heat are part of the calling. I have been encouraged by voices like and Mel Robbins , who also remind us that growth lives on the other side of discomfort.

If you are walking through your own fire right now, I invite you to explore the message in The Crucible Principle on Amazon and share what it stirs in you.

You cannot win by living on someone else’s terms. I have learned that the hard way, because chasing another person’s version of success will drain your joy and slowly pull you away from who you really are. When you spend your energy comparing your life to someone else’s highlight reel, it chips away at your confidence and your creativity.

What matters most is knowing what you believe, what you value, and what kind of impact you want to make. I believe in learning from great leaders like Author Patrick Lencioni and Andy Andrews , but I also know that I still have to live out my own calling. Each of us has passion, purpose, and potential inside of us, and the world does not need a copy of someone else. It needs you being fully you.

So today, choose to step into your own version of success and move toward the life you were created to live.

Comment ā€œMEā€ if you are ready to believe in yourself and live bigger than you think you can.

The fire that feels like it will break you is the fire that makes you greater.

That is the heart behind my book The Crucible Principle. So many of us walk through pressure, storms, and moments where it feels like everything might fall apart. We think the fire is there to destroy us, but what it is really doing is refining us.

This book tells a story about people just like you and me who face those hard seasons and come out stronger on the other side. The lessons we learn there shape the legacy we leave.

If you are ready to understand what the fire in your life is doing, you can find The Crucible Principle on Amazon and grab a copy there.

Kids don’t learn who to be from what we say, they learn it from how we live.
I’m reminded of that every day as a father. My kids are always watching how I respond when things don’t go my way, how I treat people in small moments, and how I show up for my family.
They see how I handle stress, how I speak, and how much patience and grace I bring into the room šŸ‘ˆ.
None of us might get this perfect, but awareness changes everything. When we choose to lead with love, forgiveness, and consistency, we give our kids something solid to stand on.
So today, I challenge myself and I challenge you to slow down, lead with more grace, and model the life we hope our kids will live.
That’s how real change begins.
Comment ā€œI’m inā€ if you’re taking that challenge today.

This moment is not meant to crush you, it is meant to shape you into the leader you were always becoming. I know the weight feels heavy and the path feels uncertain, yet this is exactly where clarity and character are formed.

Through the wisdom I have gained from leaders like Craig Groeschel and John C. Maxwell , I have learned that pressure does not remove your purpose, it reveals it. And that truth is the heartbeat of The Crucible Principle.

This book is already transforming how leaders face adversity, find strength in the fire, and step into their calling with confidence.

If you are still standing in the heat, this message is for you.

Ordinary effort applied with consistency is what creates extraordinary outcomes. I have seen it in my own life and in the lives of leaders I admire, where small daily choices quietly shape marriages, families, and careers over time.

Nothing meaningful happens by accident, it grows through focus, patience, and commitment.

When we keep working at what matters most, momentum begins to build. Voices like Joshua Medcalf and Jon Gordon continue to remind me that lasting success is formed through steady habits, not sudden moments.

Comment CONSISTENCY if you are ready to lean into the simple disciplines that create a remarkable life.
