I apologize for the lack of lighting in my basement at 5 am... but, real talk for a minute:
I am an athlete. I have been all of my life, but weights and equipment can be SO intimidating. It can easily lead to injury when used incorrectly! (SO easy to DO)

FACT: School’s out and I’m home with the kiddos and all the Valentine’s candy
FICTION: I won’t have time to workout and cannot escape the candy
FACT: We have no schedule, a zillion plans and are not at home.
FICTION: It’s impossible to stay on a healthy track AND enjoy fun with my family during the break.
For those of us that struggle with body confidence and value fitness and nutrition, but also want fun with the fam… periods when the schedule changes can be a unique challenge.
Once we’ve acknowledged these things though, we can take control of the doubts and find a solution. We deserve to be kinder to ourselves, show ourselves some love, and throw out the excuses! What do you need to do to find balance and love yourself more this winter?

Excuse the language but this is FOR REAL where I am at. I am thankful for the few days we had in FL because this year, GA has received more 🌧 than Seattle!!
