Jak Jones has won the Unibet British Open! The Welshman produced the best performance of his career to defeat Mark Selby 10-6 in the final and lift the Clive Everton Trophy.

After the match was locked at 5-5, Jones took control, winning five of the final six frames to seal the title and the £100,000 winner’s prize.

Jones had already stunned Judd Trump in the semi-final, and his victory over Selby completes an outstanding tournament. The 33-year-old now has two ranking titles after winning his first at the Championship League in July.

The victory also sends Jones from 31st to 22nd in the world rankings and makes him just the 46th player in snooker history to win multiple ranking titles.
